Tail of the Fish
Tail of the Fish is a Fall season opening regatta. It is held in Schuylerville, NY at the point where Fish creek joins the Hudson River. The Tail of the Fish typically attracts 300 boats and in 2012 will be held on the Last saturday in September and immediately followed by the SchuylerSkiff Regatta on the last Sunday of Sept. -
SchuylerSkiff NA
With grand prizes including tickets to the international endurace regatta SilverSkiff Regatta in Turin Italy, the Schuylerskiff is fast becoming the place to find elite and aspiring international scullers. Racing in only singles and doubles on the Hudson River, this is both a laid back and elite level regatta. In a unique feature, the Schuylerskiff is a Stake regatta of 6500 meters.

Saratoga Invitational
On the last weekend of April, an east coast Clash of the Titans, the Saratoga invitational is a similar opening regatta to the Crew Classic of the West coast. With over 800 entries, this regatta provides the invited crews the opportunity to race several times over the weekend in 1500 meter as well as 2000 meter racing.

NYS Championships
New York State Scholastic Championships are held the second weekend of May. With over 80 New York teams and 550 boats competing, the NY State Championships is one of the largest state championships for rowing. This regatta is held on Saturday and Sunday and qualifies its fastest crews to the USRowing Youth Invitational Regatta as well as the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championships. -
