Social Events Silent Auction Saratoga Rowing Association’s annual Silent Auction will be held Thursday, March 18th this year, at Longfellows Restaurant on Union Ave, at 6pm. Tickets are $40 per person, $70 per couple, and $30 if you are under 30 years old and can be purchased by calling 587-6697.  The proceeds from this event go to fund operating expenses and help us keep the registration fee so low compared to other clubs. This year's auction will have a few new twists including a DJ and a live auction. The first offering will be a box at the track courtesy of the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau, a limousine for the day courtesy of Today's Limousine, and a dinner certificate to Chianti Il Ristorante.  There is also a drag racing package for the semis and the finals at the NHRA Full Throttle Series in Englishtown, NJ and Reading, PA and finally the rental of a 4 bedroom home overlooking the harbor on Cape Cod for 7 days. We will also be raffling a .5 carat diamond courtesy of Hoff Jewelers in Clifton Park. For $10 you can sip on a glass of champagne and in the bottom there will either be a crystal or a REAL 1/2 carat diamond.  The jeweler will be present to tell us who the lucky winner is!
