September 25, 2007 Across- SSRC Founding Member, Ageo Frizzera, Juliana Wakeman, Sebastian Wheeler, SSRC President Kurt Borchardt SSRC Merit Scholarship Saratoga Springs Rowing Club has awarded its 2nd Annual Merit Scholarship to one boy and one girl of the Saratoga Springs Rowing Association. At the Fall 2007 Parent Meeting they announced seniors, Juliana Wakeman and Sebastian Wheeler as the recipients of the award. This award of $1500 will help to incur any rowing costs for the year for each recipient. Eligible rowers must be in 10-12th grade, have a grade-point average of a B and submit all required documents per the application. March 6, 2007 Saratoga Springs Rowing Club awards Spring 2007 Merit Scholarships Saratoga Springs Rowing Club President Kurt Borchardt and founding member Ageo Frizzera awarded Saratoga Rowing Association varsity members Kaitlyn Conway and Peter Snyder with merit scholarships in the amount of $750. SSRC developed this award to promote the sport of rowing and to recognize those youth who have demonstrated solid academic achievement, significant citizenship contributions and outstanding rowing leadership. The money will be used for all expenses incurred by the rower for the spring and summer rowing seasons. Future scholarships will be awarded in the fall of each year.
