Bring on the 2012-2013 season!

While we say goodbye and good luck to the Class of 2012.  We here at Toga are geared up and excited for the next season!  Look for more updates shortly (hopefully we can keep up better than last spring!)  For now, we are proud to announce 2 new coaches on staff.

Joe CarlsonCoach Joe comes to us from Oak Ridge Rowing Assoc (ORRA).  Most recently Joe has coached the varsity boys and the masters at Oak Ridge Rowing.  He has extensive experience in regatta hosting and preparation.  Joe is also a USRowing Referee and served as the Chairman of the Referee committee.  Coach Joe has also served as the president of the board of ORRA.  Joe did his collegiate rowing at Florida Institute of Technology during a phase of that program that produced several highly regarded coaches.  We are extremely excited to add Joe's extensive experience and wide skill set to our boys coaching staff.

Isa Abdur-RahmanCoach Isa comes to us most recently from New York Rowing where he worked with the assistant varsity program, novice program, as well as middle school program.  Isa is a graduate of Brown University.  He has the unique distinction of being part of one of the best seasons ever.  In his senior year, Brown swept the entire Eastern Sprints regatta winning every event they entered.  Isa's concentration at Brown was economics, and he has done extensive tutoring in math and economics.  Isa will be helping out with the girls program.

Welcome to both.  We are so excited for you to be joining our team!
