Announcement Archives                                    Current Announcements   SSRC Merit Scholarship Saratoga Springs Rowing Club has awarded its 2nd Annual Merit Scholarship to one boy and one girl of the Saratoga Springs Rowing Association. At the Fall 2007 Parent Meeting they announced seniors, Juliana Wakeman and Sebastian Wheeler as the recipients of the award. This award of $1500 will help to incur any rowing costs for the year for each recipient. Eligible rowers must be in 10-12th grade, have a grade-point average of a B and submit all required documents per the application. Applications for the 2008 Merit Award will be online in the spring of 2008. Saratoga Rowing Association Executive Director, Chris Chase, Retires The board of Saratoga Rowing Association announces the retirement of one of the region’s most successful scholastic team coaches and Executive Directors. CW Chase Scholarship News Katilyn Conway has been awarded the SRA 2007 "Christopher W Chase" Scholarship. This scholarship is given to a Saratoga Springs HS Senior who exemplifies the values that Chris Chase has always urged his rowers to strive for...good academic standing, good citizenship and community service, and a rower committed to SRA and what is best for the team.
